What we repair

The mortar around chimneys, ridges, and verge tiles cracks and crumbles over the years. Re-pointing brings it back to weatherproof and stops water getting into joints.

The valley where two roof slopes meet is a common leak point, especially on older properties with mortared valleys. We can re-bed mortar valleys or replace them with modern dry-valley systems for a longer-lasting fix.

Roof leak investigation
Sometimes you’ve got a leak and you can’t see where it’s coming from. We do leak investigations — get up on the roof, check the obvious suspects first, then work down to the more subtle stuff (damaged underlay, cracked flashing, gaps in pointing). Once we know what’s causing it, we’ll give you a fixed price to fix it.
Storm damage repairs
After a storm we get a lot of calls. Lifted tiles, blown-off ridge caps, chimney pots down, damaged guttering. We do emergency callouts the same day to get a temporary repair on, then come back for the permanent fix.
What causes roof problems in Amersham
